Our Team

We are a group of Ukrainian-born scientists who are passionate about the world learning more about Ukraine and Ukrainian leaders in art, science, and technology. We’re also working hard to raise money for schools in Ukraine that have been damaged by russian missiles in the unjust and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

  • Co-founder

    Born in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, Ukraine. Neuroscientist, Dr. rer. nat. in Molecular Biomedicine from University of Bonn, Germany. In my work, I focus on modeling human brain development and its associated genetic disorders. Passionate about science communication and making education and science accessible to everyone. As part of the ReImagine Ukraine Foundation team, I wish to increase awareness of Ukraine's past, present, and future perspectives and decolonize people's perception of Ukraine as a post-soviet Union Republic.

    Born in Lviv, Ukraine. Ph.D. Candidate in Neuroscience at University of California, Berkeley. My scientific work focuses on understanding the molecular factors underlying the diversity between synapses (connections between neurons). I am passionate about increasing access to education and scientific research. As part of the ReImagine Ukraine Foundation team, I want to center Ukrainian voices in science and technology while highlighting Ukraine’s contribution to the world.

  • Co-founder

    Born in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. DVM, Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine, a researcher at University of Maryland. My scientific projects focus on understanding host-pathogen interactions for developing new vaccines or therapeutic strategies against Lyme disease. Fascinated by implementing scientific literacy in daily life. Proud to be a part of the ReImagine Ukraine Foundation team, - our educational projects will shed light on the origins of Ukrainian scientists, artists, and historical characters starting from Ukraine’s historical past till nowadays, towards building a democratic and prosperous future.
